I suppose if I'm gonna be adding people and all that I should probably do some kind an About post- that's not what this is. Might happen this weekend but also- might not. I won't make any promises. I know I'm on full tilt whole hog Ted Lasso Brainworms. I'm multifandom in theory but less so in practice. Slash-centric pro-poly multishipper. I don't care to post personal updates. Online is fandom space for me and that's it. I'm more active on tumblr
devinwolfi, reblogging and rarely gifposting and such.
I would like to use dw more, but since I choose to limit my online contributions to fan stuff, this happens rarely. I have thought about for a while- posting some of wips I've got lying around since they're unlikely to ever be posted to ao3. Just to like. Get them out. For some reason. Interaction, if desired, would be welcome with those if I do decide to do that. Critique or as otherwise desired.
Unsure. Many options.

As someone who only primarily has two online accounts (DW and Tumblr) I tend to go back and forth between them. I reblog on Tumblr daily, and try my best to update my DW (and comment on people's entries). It's why I don't have social media, I cannot imagine the kind of mental stress it would be to keep up with more than one thing at a time.

And I totally get you re other social media sites. I used to have instagram, like almost ten years ago now. Which. woah. But if I try to log onto that these days, it's so cluttered with sponsored posts and content from people I have never followed! I appreciate that dreamwidth and tumblr are pretty much restricted to the content I have decided that I want to see and nothing else. Though, tumblr is trying to change that with their For You, based on your likes, blazed posts, and random community posts I've started seeing lately that slip past my adblocks without a setting to turn that off that I've been able to find yet. I hope they cut that shit out, frankly.

I know what you mean about Tumblr trying to push those things, but that's been going on for a while now and I try to block those things the best I can. However, for all its faults, Tumblr is among the last remaining good websites available that isn't overrun with corporation nonsense and other bullshit we're seeing with social media. I'm hoping it remains that way.
