Oh my god. I fought with that layout more than I probably should have. But, I'm learning as I go... grr.. When I first posted it to tumblr I was already dreading possibly putting it on dw because it's not a standard grid or list. But by golly I got there. Shoutout nested tables, everyone. Woof. I'm only a little peeved by the misalignment of the center row but that's just the nature of nesting, I guess. grr...
I fiddled with the colors as much as I fiddled with the table set-up. I really wanted to bring out the reds, of course, as well as desaturate the black in the background and Ayo's habit. Tragically for me, there's also a lot of red in the table and the script folders and I have not reached a point where I am committed enough to be that picky. The lighting was incredibly varied on the recording and a lot of the shots I initially wanted to use were unfocused or poorly framed. But, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out overall. The second one perhaps being my favorite. I love how shiny her sunglasses are. Plus, the whole vibe of that scene is
really good.
